Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to an accessible website, the features that make it easier to use, and how to ask for help.
[OWNER: this is a draft. Have it reviewed by a qualified legal professional before launch.]
Draft content
This page is a draft written for the website preview. It is not legal advice, and it must be reviewed and adapted by the business before publication.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including older readers, people with low vision, and people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Features that help
- Larger text: body text is at least 18 pixels, and the A− and A+ buttons at the top of every page make all text larger, up to 130 percent. Your choice is remembered.
- Keyboard: everything works with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Motion: the homepage slideshow and the moving list of stores have pause buttons, and they stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Contrast: text and buttons meet color contrast requirements.
- Forms: every field is labelled, and errors are explained in words with a summary at the top.
- Screen readers: clear headings, landmarks, and descriptions for meaningful images.
How we checked
Every page was checked with an automated accessibility scanner (axe-core) at desktop and mobile widths and at the largest text size, and tested with a keyboard.
[OWNER: update this section after a formal accessibility review with real users and assistive technology.]
Known limitations
We are not aware of any significant barriers. Some content, such as photos from Unsplash, comes from other services we do not control.
Ask for help
If any part of this website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us. Call [PHONE] or email [EMAIL]. We will help, and we will fix the problem.
Review of this statement
This statement was prepared in October 2026, alongside the website. It should be reviewed after a formal accessibility audit and whenever the website changes significantly.
